A Relaxing View

No, it isn't the ocean or a lovely sunset. What it is is my feet, freshly pedicured, UP! At this point I almost don't care what I am looking at. In this case it is a dirt road, electric wires, and a neighboring house (could be worse). All that matters is that I am sitting - actually laying - with my feet up. I am near the beach at my cousin's wife's family's cottage. It sounds funny, but in my huge family most of what I do involves a cousin or an aunt or uncle. Sometimes I wonder if I sound a little mobster when I tell a client that my cousin is coming to help me carry in their new bookshelf. Or that my other cousin is coming to hang their new mirror. Or that my Mom's cousin is the electrician. But I am no mobster, just a business owner and mommy (and wife) so happy to have a moment to be still. So here I am in a the cottage's front yard, by the beach waiting for my kiddies to wake up from their car nap happy as a clam.

The Littles

I can't help it. I have to get a little personal this week. I love my "job" - seems weird to call what I do a "job", because I really do like it, and it doesn't seem like work. That isn't to say it is effortless. I work very hard to make sure the i's are dotted and t's crossed and that my clients are beyond satisfied. So, this isn't to say I don't love my job, but after a week like this, these two little rascals are where my thoughts, heart and head have been. Our little growing family is so, just, ugh, gets me every time I look at these little faces. It's just so darn amazing.
