5 Reasons why I Love Bankers Boxes

The first step of any organizing endeavor is to SORT.  Screeeech! Say what!?  That's right folks.  Do not - under any circumstances - go out and "buy some bins" as the first phase of organizing.  Instead, opt for a stack of bankers boxes to help with the sort (and purge) process.   

These boxes are magical and completely fantastic, and here is why:

1.  They store flat and pop into form only when you need them.  No tape needed!  They break down just as easy when the sort and purge process is done.

2.  They are the perfect size (legal size also) to fill even with heavy items and still be able to move around easily.  

3.  They are super sturdy and stackable.

4.  With the removable covers there is easy access to contents.

5.  Easy to label and re-label, and re-label.  

I literally use them on almost every organizing job.  When the sort is complete, we migrate any purge items into garbage bags or other boxes, and then place the items to keep into more permanent plastic totes that are the same size and shape.  For the reasons above (easy to stack and move around) I like the clear file boxes for storing literally everything!
