Still thinking about Brimfield...2013

Tomorrow marks one week since our day trip to Brimfield.  I'm still dreaming about all of the awesomeness we spied at the most gigantic antiques market I have ever seen.  Sadly, I only made it through half of the fields before admitting complete physical and mental exhaustion.  I can't wait to go back again and again and again.  Here are some of the pieces I wanted to remember and share.  As the last photograph shows, if I loved what a particular booth had to offer and wanted to remember their contact information in context of what they sold, I took a picture of their business card or flyer or postcard in the booth with the items in the background.  Frequently I would give them back the card to use again for someone else.  The dealers mostly appreciated that.  If you see something you love, let me know and I'll try to hunt it down for you.  Happy viewing.

Metal Bureau

Great potential as a kitchen island or office work table.
Oh the piles this bad boy could accommodate.  Dangerous.

The most fantastic purple fabric with flecks of white and gray.
Updates the look of this vintage piece so beautifully.

Office, Dining room?

A pencil collection.  Interesting.  Great wall decor.

Hollowed out bark lighting and decor.

Upholstered in men's clothing.

How adorable is this?! Playroom, Family Room, Nursery?

I love a good chunky fiber woven basket

  1. Glad you had a great time.... I threw my hips out! I told all our suppliers that I want to have a Carla's field so I can cover less ground. One of them referred to me as the whirling dervish... You should see opening day! I worked my friend's booth last September, Tommy Hilfiger came through like midcentery modern ninjas! They were Tasmanian devils but with organization and huge check books!
