So, we have officially lived in our new house for just over three months. I have already changed the furniture layout in our master bedroom and the guest room/play room. My office right now is totally my sanctuary. Located at the opposite end of the house, away from toys (cute as they may be), kitchens, televisions, people, noise, laundry, etc. However, it is far from Zen. I'm on a table-height desk, which I'm not sure I totally love. I sometimes like to work standing up and like the idea of keeping my work (piles) away from stray toddlers. I think I'd do well with a counter or even bar-height desk. I'm debating.

I love the industrial, utilitarian vibe of the locker baskets on these shelves.
She uses them for fabric samples and remnants...I would LOVE that.
Keep them out so you can see them / ogle them when you're chatting with a client on the phone.
